The final logo that went live a couple of days ago as part of the new Mattrunks site launch. (This tagline version is used primarily on the Facebook page.) A big thank you to everyone for the suggestions on the first draft, the revisions worked really well!
The major changes I made:
- More space between the 'M-a', under the 't' crossbar, between the 'k-s' and the closing of the 's' bowl.
- Adjusted the end of the 'm' so that it swoops under the 'a' better
- Revised angle on the top of the 'a' stem so it fits better with the crossbar above. Overall letter is slightly shorter too.
- Revised 'r' (top left area and main stem) and spacing in relation to the 't'
- Adjusted angle/length of 'k' arm and spacing with the 's'
- New top of 's' to mirror 'r'
Cheers @Dan! Didn't have to search far with this one, but sometimes black/grey/white works best. You're one to talk for colour choices, maybe I didn't quite talk about that blue enough..
@Joe Thank you! Hope things are going well with you and by the way, (probably late) congrats on the Logopond featured showcase! Just saw that today.
@Milosz Thanks very much! That reminds me: I got your email by the way, just need to have a look to see if I have anything relevant to contribute. Hope you're doing well!
@Brian Pleased you like it, thanks a lot!
@Anna I'm quite disappointed that comment is in English.. ;) Thank you!
@Isaac Haha thanks!
@kirk Thanks very much, I appreciate it.
Your typography is just stunning, every letter just seems to fit like a puzzle piece perfectly next to each other. One day we will get together and you will teach me your ways. haha
Let me rephrase that....Получилось очень красиво! Мне всегда интересно смотреть на твой процесс для каждого проекта. Как говорят, мастер своего труда :) Пожалуйста не использовай Гоогл для перевода хаха...
Hi @Andrew, thank you very much! That's a really nice thing to read. Who knows, maybe I'll come to your next dinner for designers! It's not that far to travel..
Looks fantastic on the website Claire! Kind of stealing its thunder abit but you can't help that ; ) Also noticed that it works just as effectively at any size especially even when its scaled down. Love that 'Tintin' twirl on the 'r' and 's'. Another fine job in the bag.
@Norman Haha, a 'Tintin' swirl! That's got to be the best description I've ever heard, love it. Very glad to hear it reads well small – that was one of the things I considered from the beginning, so it's good that it works. Thanks a lot!

Incredible work, Claire. It's transformed! That 'r' is lovely.
Also, you have a knack for picking such superb colour (or lack thereof, in this case) combinations. I'm very envious! ;)
Fantastic job, as always.
