A logo I am working on for a new restaurant.
Bearing in mind that it will be used a lot on printed material I thought this style of logo would work well.
I am with @Darrel it could use something to soften it up. Cross over a fork for cutlery, or under lay a carrot, to give a chopping / food prep vibe, or something that gives of a more catering / dining based feel.
At the moment, I only know its a restaurant, as its in the title :)

The other one feels a bit more like a pocket.
This is nice, though a knife feels a bit violent. But perhaps that's the aim. A bit of shock.

@Darrel I have had other feedback of the knife feeling too violent. I will fix that. Thanks :)
@Mike It has also been suggested that I add some other form of kitchen utensil so that will be done as well. Cheers mate :)
