or slide it left and right between days or geo locations, haven't decided yet.

I would say days has a lot more usefulness, for something that is easily accessible by methods such as sliding. Personally, I rarely have instances where I need to quickly switch between two places.

If you hadn't already used swiping upwards for extra info, I would have suggested left/right for days and up/down for geolocation.

I agree with sliding left & right for days, but you could use the right slide on the current day for something different. You don't need to know yesterdays weather.
