Really liking this. My mind is instinctively imagining what this could look like as a large sculpture, made of various materials - metal, wood, paneling, etc.
Love the idea and the style, though if you squint your eyes, the cardinal kind of falls into the background because of the similarity in value. You might want to push the foreground a bit more, or have the background recede?
