The text below the image looks a little squashed for my own taste, especially the stats. Perhaps a slightly larger line height would do the trick. Other than that, it's very slick and certainly gives the video full attention, so great work.
Yeah your right. However, I did go for the typical "YouTube" squishing but I can give it a more space next time I open it (:
I like this, really make the video the most important thing. One thing I would say is that from a branding point, YouTube won't take the colour from their logo ;)
Yeah your probably right. But considering that YouTube will never see this, I don't think it is such a big issue (;
What if the logo was fully coloured as it should be, until the point that the video is played, when it becomes a greyed out watermark - think they might go for that?
Hm... There could otherwise be a kind of "focus" button which could tone down everything, like turning the red color on the logo to the one I have now! Not a bad idea, going to try it out (:
