This was for an assignment where we had to create a cover for a Pulitzer Prize winning entry from '11. I picked a played called Madame White Snake about a woman who doesn't realize she is a 1000 year old snake who falls in love with a scholar but their love is forbidden. I wanted to make an illustration for this since at the time, I hadn't used many.
