The styling of this Mac app is done completely in code, there are no images used. This was achieved with the help of PaintCode and some updates I pushed to INAppStoreWindow last night. You can download the app here, though it doesn't do much :)
I've had this UI and the technique bouncing around in my head for a couple weeks and I finally got the necessary pieces in place to do it! The final app will not be a notepad app, this is just to have something to show :)

This is awesome! Though, that font... well.. I don't like it that much.
But that, in pure code, is really cool!
I agree with CJ Melegrito, it's awesome but I'd revisit the font choice :)
@CJ Melegrito & @Hamish k, I'll pick a better one for the actual app :) Any recommendations?
Wow, amazing :)
Ah very cool! Just needs an icon ;)
Very nice! I wish I had your coding skills In addition to the design. Keep up the good work @David Keegan :)
Nice work man! :D
One word: awesome! I haven't actually tried the app yet, but thanks to this shot I now know about INAppStoreWindow which is simply fantastic. (Just getting into Cocoa Dev, but I really want to use this now.) Great work David.
