Saw my pal Brandon Rike do his take on the Nets logo. Figured I'd take a go at it just for fun, too. Needed to take my mind off my current project for a minute, so this was a fun exercise.
This version is one of my favorites from the Nets redesigns. I appreciate that the aesthetic is clean, but the thick lines still keep the contrast and masculinity in check. I wish actual sports brands would consider that over the need to over-gradiate and "shine" the logos to make them seem exciting.
