Animated Album Art

So like I said, I had tons of fun making this. I wish I had done a screen capture of the process, but here we are.

So the photo that I used as the foundation is one that I took out the window of a plane one morning with my old Canon 60D http://www.flickr.com/photos/sursly/6061082164

I then used a combination of the brush tool (to make the initial hole, and highlights, smoothing), gradients, photoshop rendered clouds, more real clouds that I took ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/sursly/tags/trvocm ). Pretty simple, nothing fancy, but a lot of fun.
