Thanks for all the kind words everyone! This was just an early process comp. The iPad version will mirror more closely to the style of the iPhone app that is already out (universal).
@Jeff Portaro @Dennis P Kramer Yes, the idea is that the ground would animate out the map after touching a pin. Unfortunately, due to some limitations with Map Kit, we'll be unable to accomplish this in the first build. However, it's not out of the question for later builds..... glad you're diggin' the concept :)
