The leftmost ones on second and third rows are ace. I'm afraid that the others on the third row could get messy, especially if there's multiple pins on the same area, as they look more disjointed. #my2cents
Bottom right might disappear on a map or? If the map i dark exactly where "Sydney" is. Try it out on a map, short and long city names, extreme heat and extreme cold (below zero?), different weather.

The weather glyphs are slightly tweaked versions of the fantastic Symbolicons pack.

Yup, in this case it is. What makes it trickier is the map these will be going in is ~400x300px in most situations.
