I liked everything, but the current day is really awesome.
Just maybe the shadow behind it is weird? Maybe because the square is coming out, but not so much to the shadow has this cut at the top. Maybe it should continue to the top, what you think?

Thanks @Cesar Zeppini It seems based on the feedback here (which is AWESOME, everyone) I need to go back to the drawing board and tweak that current date indicator. I agree with you, and that it may also be falling out a bit too far. Can't wait to play around with it a bit more.

Maybe the shadow effect on the 9 needs to be inverted, so it looks like lifting up, rather than pushing off.

@Jeffrey Jorgensen You asked for it, I just added the shot to the bucket. Of course I had to add my own shot, back in the day the texture wasn't as overused as now though.
