Absolutely beautiful, detailed work! My only suggestions would be to increase the shadow on the "floor" inside the helmet to help complete the illusion of depth.
Funny, I've been thinking of doing a series of helmet illustrations myself. I was going to start with Magneto's helmet.

It's great!
Just a suggestion/doubt:
I always thought that red detail in front of the helmet was something more glassy, like a car backlight... as this version: http://images.wikia.com/megaman/images/7/7c/Megaman3MHX.jpg
So, I think maybe some glass effect on this red detail could fit well :P
