Just because I started casually making some notes and presentation slides (which acted as the foundational content for the poster) in Keynote. I began roughing out a layout in keynote and it just never got difficult enough to warrant moving over to InDesign.
I also had a bit of tight timeline and staying in Keynote helped me stay out of some details that may have made the poster more lush, but would have probably become an obstacle to finishing on time.
I get the question though. If someone else told me "hey look - I made this poster in keynote," I would have been like "good for you."
