1st shot at a logo for one of my new personal projects.
It's interesting, although it seems really generic to me. It could be a logo for almost any technology/networking company. Maybe try exploring more of the "parent" side of the concept rather than the "hub"?
Also the type is certainly nice, but to me Museo is a little overused (just a thought though)
Thanks @Sam Mularczyk, I really appreciate you comments.
I get what you mean with museo... I suppose I used it as I personally really like it and the nice balance it has between being formal and informal.
You're also right about the generic "hub" thing... I had played with several ideas but all seemed over complicated. The "hub" is also really the key part here... it's the piece which hopefully will provide some involvement and ownership in the users.
No problem! I like Museo too, but after the Web 2.0 craze it now looks super generic and if a site uses it I kind of think it's a little outdated. Might just be my mindset.
Fair enough, I'd still encourage you to try and explore some other ideas. As I said it does look fairly techy which I assume is not what you're going for. By all means use the hub concept, but right now it seems too technical to me.
