@Nikita Prokhorov Thanks! And it's a sketching program made by Autodesk. In my opinion it's the best sketching program out there especially if you're using a tablet or a cintiq.

Hey Matt! LOVE your work! Do you sketch in Sketchbook Pro and then render in Photoshop or Illustrator? I usually sketch in PS and render in PS or Illustrator. Just wondering what's the advantage of sketching in SB Pro rather than the other two. (I have a tablet too.)

@Karen Dessire Thanks!! I sketch in SB Pro and then render in Photoshop. I prefer sketching in it over PS and AI because the pen/pencil tools feel much more natural.

This step is creating the shapes and using the Burn Tool (and sometimes the Dodge Tool) to give the shapes some form. Now i'll add harder shadows and then the fun part, all the detail.
