I think the diagonal lines, background color, and type throw off the elegant treatment a bit, but really nice nonetheless :)

That looks awesome, I really like it!
One comment though, if you look at the dark thingy that attaches the two ropes together it is not the same piece on the 'on' and on the 'off' states. In the 'on' state it looks like if you follow the shape from the bottom [thicker] side to the top [thinner] side it is bending towards the right side, but on the 'off' state it looks like it is bending towards the left side. But apart from that I think it's a brilliant execution! :)
