    is there some way of visualising the difference between the two prices? one is one off, (joining fee?) and the other is a recurring payment. Giving them both the same visual rank is a bit confusioning. My ecommerce bosses would say: emphasise the lower price.

    Good point Andy, I've thought about it a lot and the biggest thing is avoiding confusion. I'm not trying to trick anyone into signing up nor am I interested in pissing people off that "thought" it was just "this much" per month so I want to be very clear about it up front. It's generally a bit confusing anyway, with the way the club membership is set up. I do agree though, it's a bit overwhelming, even though it's well worth the startup cost.

    ok, so no grey hat selling tricks! maybe you could put a plus + symbol in between them (rather than "then just") to show that the two prices are related but different?
