@Henry: Hmm... I think if I were to go that route I would need to add a (+) sign to all the icons, which may become a bit obtrusive. I just have hope that our users can read ;-)

Two questions: The "You currently have no homes set up" and "1515 ..." don't look center aligned; is that intentional? I also wouldn't be surprised if this is trivial with the rest of the page visible.
Is the 'Add Utilities' link in a hover state?

Thx Ted. Actually I just shifted the "You have no homes setup" text down into the frame to show in the shot. So currently its in a higher location aligned with a different element.
The Add Utilities link is a hover state. The active state would be similar but in a darker brown.
Thanks for taking the time to look at the details! Hopefully seeing it in full view will lead to a better understanding. In due time.. :)
