My first stab at a menu. EVER. I'm kinda pumped, but I'm ready to be disappointed. These things never work out.

Lovely colors and type, but I might keep the titles of all the menu items in the same place (i.e. the top), so our eyes know where to look. It gets a bit chaotic otherwise.
Good point. I need to standardize those items. Thanks.
Looks great, would love to see more menus like this when I'm out!
The colors and textures are so damn nice. Is HOEK Tungsten?
I like it. This would be a great responsive site design for a restaurant. I am working on something similar. Looks really good.
Thanks Johua. I'd love to see that site you're working on when it's up. Let me know.
And @kellianderson HOEK is in Tungsten. Well spotted. By the way, I'm a big fan of your work.
This looks great @Bennie, can't wait to see the rest of it!
Is this the awesome restaurant in LIC?
One in the same.

And here's the flip side of the menu. Fingers crossed that the client likes it.

The name of that restaurant just got me to order Dominos.
Nice catch. Gotta fix that.
It looks nice. Perhaps the prices could be less prominent, colour and size wise. That way people are more likely to make their choices based on the food than price.
very cool. i actually like the big prices.
I am kinda in the middle on the big numbers thing. Typographically I dig them, but I do see them as possibly being distracting. Without them it just seems like there's no texture; no balance.
