very nice! still i think you can find a way to have the M's in the same style as the rest - meaning half showing half not - when right now it's just showing all the negative spaces which isn't like the other letters and a little confusing..
@adam nishma Thanks, I totally agree. I've been exploring that too. I do like the negative space and shape the M's make and how you have to work a little to see it.
I really like your concept. Colors are really nice too. The M's are too hard to read imo, myabe a few more subtle cuts/shading around them can help making it just legible enough.
With the two ideas you have going here, perhaps you can have two options where one is all about the half letter/foldover and the second is about the counter spaces.
I also really love the colors. Since you only have one color for the T O and Y, with the M's having different colors in the counter spaces, my eye focuses on the color relationships rather than the spacing that's making the M's. Maybe if you pick one color for each M? Just some thoughts.
Overall this concept is super rad and the dimensionality is really fun. Majorly dope stuff.
@Tawny Rose Really appreciate the great feedback! I never even thought of the single color idea for each M, that would definitely tie those counter spaces together a whole lot more. I guess when you're to close to an idea you miss the obvious. I've been messing around with the all "half letter" idea too. Thanks!

Working on a mark to combine paperkraftin' with my name. Is it working? Legible? Feedback is welcome. :)

Very cool - I think the T,O and Y are super legible, which lets you get away with less legible M's - overall, super cool idea and execution!

Yes! Negative space for the win. I dig the way it is paper-crafted.

This is great. I agree about the 'M's being a little hard to read right away, but it's a really creative way to make them.
