A few sketches for illustrations that are going on a friend's site.

I like these! Do you scan the illustrations in and just work on them in Photoshop, or do you re-sketch them in Illustrator (or live trace)?
I ask because I'm working on an illustration for a poster and have no idea how to get it from paper to screen to print.
I scan and then Live Trace in Illustrator.
To me, the key is nice thick lines with a ultra-fine Sharpie. Clean up mistakes and line inconsistencies in Photoshop and voilĂ !
Interesting. Thanks, Jeremy. What about areas in your illustration that are thick, or filled in? Do you do the filling in post-scan, or on your original sketch?
All shading and filling is done during the drawing phase.
