It confuses me a bit that the "dark part" (I suppose you'd call it the raised part) isn't at 90 degrees, but I'm sure it'll look great in context.

Thanks for the feedback on the shadow. Was attempting to make it look like it's casting a shadow. I guess I failed! I've attached an updated version.
