Both are great, but my personal preference is to 2... I like how in 1 the a is a bit more romantic, but in 2 I like how it follows the shape of the heart... tough decision, though. Both are great!

I think 2 is the best as well, although the letterform is nicer in 1, version 2 ties both letters and the heart together. Especially since it now also transitions into the + character.

Thanks guys! I was personally leaning more towards 1, but you're both right, the flow of 2 feels a lot smoother. I'll keep exploring with both, maybe ultimately let my friends who this is for decide. So glad to have some valuable feedback!
