I'm too late for Font Aid IV, but finishing this fun little exercise will likely take me weeks anyway. For one character.

Whenever I attempt to wield the bezier, I'm reminded just how insanely talented great type designers are.

Three down. Only five more typographic tentacles to go. You can do it!

Which is to say, I hope this is an octopus-inspired typeface. :)

Too bad you missed out on the Font Aid deadline, Dan. I would have love to have seen this one in the mix. There’s some very tasty curves in there.

No, no, Shaun. He has 7 more to go. Decapus, remember? ;)

@Shaun Ha! An octopus-inspired ampersand would be rather amazing. Amperpus? Octersand?

@Grant Thanks, sir. You've encouraged me to continue on this :)

@jina Haha, you remember well :D

@Luke I will now need to brush up on my tentography.

Literally laughing out loud at the word "Amperpus." I was thinking the same thing as Shaun on this one, it looks very much like an octopus-themed ampersand. Make it happen.

Still horribly rough. But I think I have a sketch now of the entire shape. Or at least a direction. Obessive Bezier adjustment is my new affliction.

Some of the curves are still a bit rough, but this custom ampersand is coming along.

Thanks to Liam for the amazing free brush set used in the background.
