Everytime you forget to optimize your icons a kitten dies. In this example:
1 - On the far left, a vector shape pasted without any work done.
2 - A 10 sec tweak brings the sharpness up right away. The shape has been quickly transformed to fit the pixels better.
3 - An extra 5 minutes to bring each vector on the pixels makes the sharpness absolutely perfect.
4 - A tiny shadow, reflection and gradient make the icon even sharper.
Conclusion : Optimise your icons !
