However, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be 'Home Sweet Homes' or 'Homes Sweet Homes'. I figure the former (especially after reading comments) but since it's ambiguous, it's not clear. The double-s is clever and well executed for sure - I just wonder if it confuses the name.
@Steve - Thank you! I definitely thought about that - it's supposed to be 'Homes Sweet Homes' but within the design, I tried to tie in both 's' into one.
Should I continue in that direction or do you think it's best to use both? Would love feedback!
You might try some A/B testing here on Dribbble by posting a version with the words separate. Even though I really like how you integrated the 's' into both words, I think it would be worth seeing the other version for readability. Us designers will probably still like the version you have now because it is more visually clever.
That said, I really like the shape of the uppercase 'S' and not the lowercase one. So who knows! :)
The problem with Buttermilk is that it is for me too much Jessica's style... I mean that you can do whatever you want with it, it will never be YOUR style, always her style...
... I hope the sens of my comment was right as english is not my native language !! ;-)
I had the same thought as Steve - either it read "Homes Sweet Home" and it was totally awesome, or it read "Home Sweet Home" and was too smooshed together!

This is a little project I'm working on.
I'm experimenting with different typographic ideas - this is one of them. Would love feedback.

I love this - I love the type, the angle & the background. The only think that irks me is the slight break on the 's' at the end.

Nifty how the capital 'S' works for both words. Well done! :)

..Maybe in context it will be more clear?
