It only works in Webkit browsers, and you'd have to make a fallback in others.

That's awesome, I didn't know about the -webkit-background-clip property!
Nice! I mostly just fall back to solid shadows of a lighter color for other browsers. Usually fits stylistically.
Nice effect, to bad the web solution doesn't work in Firefox ;)
Yeah it's frustrating, but falling back to a solid shadow like Justin said is a pretty easy and viable solution.
