Real nice work, I think this fits your style a lot better than your previous one. That serif on the top of the A/middle W is kind of distracting though. Have you tried without it?

Do you think it'd help if the serif were on the other side instead? I'm worried about it looking visually heavy on the left side because both the top serif and crossbar are on that side.

That could help. After looking at it a little more I'm kind of starting to like the serif, and I think it would lose a little if it was gone. My eye was just drawn to the left side and how there was less black space on that side on the top than the right. But now I'm kind of thinking that's a good thing because it helps you notice the A immediately. I think if you drop the serif, or change it to the right side, and you don't think it looks as good, then you should leave it.
That was all kind of rambling on, but all in all i think it looks really good, and it's really nicely done.
