I'd argue that showing some of the animated photos (as they do on their very bad landing page) is more persuasive than just showing the static app as you have.
There's no better way to illustrate what the app does than showing people.
@Michael Wilson I agree, but I guess that part of the design would be decided by them - I just wanted to use something from the app, and didn't really think about it!

Saw this app through a tweet today (Cinemagram) and decided to take a bash at there landing page.
I am in no way affiliated with Cinemagram and just did this for fun.
Large version attached, took a photo for the dribbble shot to fit everything in, so hate on.
