Signup form and preview page for a new sporting goods website currently in the works. Executed the idea of filling out a fishing license. Trying to keep it down-to-earth and less of a clean and modern look for the target audience.
Hey Will, good design work, and a very unique approach, but I'm very interested to see how usable this is once its in production. Even though it references the real-world process of filling out a fishing license request form, I wonder if the audience will recognize it as a web site form.
@PJ McCormick Yea. I had thought about that. We're at a very early stage of this project tho. Much of these things will be worked out. But it's a start. Great observation - and I will take that into account. Much appreciated.
Some of the latest updates on this after meetings yesterday - http://drp.mk/NPw Added a lighter bg color to the form field to make it more obvious. Also made the copy more prominent. And we moved away from the textured background to a photographic background. More like a magazine or catalogue cover.
