The FQ logo is really only seen in a couple places. Namely, as the bookplate on the endpapers in each issue. With No.3 at the printer, I thought "what better than the 11th hour to rework this sucker"—such that it actually feels like it belongs on the endpapers.
Spent an evening drawing little serifs on H&FJ's Knockout only to realize that was the worst idea ever.
And then Dan Cassaro gave unto the world, Highway. I could watch that capital L swash at me all night.

Wow, very nice!
That's legit. Nicely done. Can't wait to see the third issue.
That looks super rad, Nate!
I love the ribbons on the sides; so so nice.
Well played Mister Nate! I think it matches the attitude of your publication quite nicely.
I knew I could trust you with my baby!
This is so rad.
I'm so in love with Highway right now. ):
Love when last minute inspiration hits. Well done Nate and of course @Dan Cassaro too.
Thaaaaaanks everybodies. @Dan Cassaro done did himself in. I wouldn't say I made a woman out of his baby—that's for someone else to accomplish—but I certainly brought her home later than he asked. Slipped 'er in the window and rode my bike home fast as I could. Phil Collins in the ear buds, no underwear.
