Anyone else notice the subtle shifts toward cool grays and the stronger gradients + noise in the iTunes 9 UI? Blurring the lines of web apps vs desktop apps...
It does help establish a subtle visual hierarchy. Separates the chrome top toolbar from the secondary store toolbar. Also note the added drop shadow under the chrome suggesting depth. Small yet effective.

Yeah, noticed that. I don't like the stronger gradient...it's a little too noticeable now.
