I like it so far Gert, real cool. I think you can improve the mark a little though. The contrast between the negative space 'F' and 'H' could be more balanced IMO. I dig the color and layout though.

Hey Joe, thanks for your input mate. You're right about the contrast. Personally I think the H maybe a little bit too 'fat' opposed to the negative F. Though have to admit this was one of those concepts I quickly needed to put together. I have a bunch of more, including even an ambigram ;)

I have to say that on one hand, I really like this: the color, the texture, the illustration style, etc. On the other hand, I'd say that the center letters & the negative space seem to be trying too hard...and taking away from the overall mark. I know you said you have several concepts, but what if you try to mask the letters within the basketball a bit more, making them the same weights as the lines of the basketball, and almost hiding them within the lines of the ball? That may work...or may look like absolute excrement. ;)

Gert, did you try this idea with a lowercase f? Btw —and I'm sure that you've already figured that out—, you can find the both letters by 90° rotating (CCW) the lowercase f. Good work buddy. Cheers.
