I've removed my original comment, because it was impulsive and even tho, I stand by my opinion, this wasn't the place or case for it.
Didn't mean for it to get so out of hand either.
I've talked to Jon and we've resolved it. Turns out he's a very nice and cool guy.
This was a case of "judging a book by its cover" and I didn't word it properly at all. But I'm man enough to admit when I make a mistake.
So I hereby publicly apologize to Jon for my impulsive comment.

@Emir Ayouni | Growcase| Growcase I'm honestly extremely surprised by this. The project your looking at is for a client. The client REQUESTED a Native American be used on this label for a new brand of bitters that has a story rooted in Native American history and culture. So saying something is "shitty" is obnoxious and then just assuming I'm doing it to be disrespectful is just ridiculous.

@Emir Ayouni | Growcase| Growcase I'm sorry, are you trying to stir up controversy on purpose? There's no reason I need to explain anything to you, but for your information, I really like the backstory behind this brand and it's actually something I was excited to work on. Where I'm from in New York actually has a very rich Native American past and the client and I have done a lot of research to make sure everything was done properly. I see absolutely nothing offensive about this. The only thing I find offensive is this soapbox you're on out of the blue.

@Emir Ayouni | Growcase| Growcase I'm not sure what your affiliation with American Indians are but this is not the avenue for being offensive and inflammatory. @Jon Contino took the time show some of his work, which is very good and enjoyed by the community. If you don't like it, then don't hit the like button and move on. There's no reason to make assumptions and slander anyone's character, though. That's not what we're here on dribbble for.

I just think your argument is ridiculous and it was posed in an extremely rude way. If you were nice about this and said "How do you feel about doing a design that has such controversial history?" Then I would answer you like an adult. You're coming out of the gate like someone who has something to prove and that's just weird.
