Manly woodsman. Biggun attached. Rip it apart.

I swear I was dressed just like this for a fancy dress party last month! Awesome work!

Wish I had a bigger view! I wonder if some thick & thin lines would work well in his hair? Even with the straight angled lines you could have thick and narrow ends to the lines. Maybe a tad more shadows like under his hand, maybe under the inside of the belt buckle and maybe on the inside of his left leg?

Other than that...THIS STILL KICKS ASS!!

I think I saw this guy at Grok ;)

I'm no illustrator, so my feedback doesn't hold much weight, but the mouth area looks a bit funky. Is he eating his beard? I would, but seems weird anyone else would.

Amazing. Only feedback I'd give is on the fingers, wish they were defined individually.

This is wonderfully fun - that is a darn big axe though.

Hope every one does not mind me adding a little bit of my humour to this?

Great design dude. I'd shorten up those fingers to make the match the other hand. Maybe even BEEFIER eyebrows?

    Love the patterning.

@Pasquale D'Silva great catch. Those fingers are too long. I might revisit those brows...he just felt like a huge hairball and so I toned those down a bit.

His axe-hand kinda bothers me. Seems bigger than the other, and it's not really "gripping" the handle. More like folded around it. Y'know? I dunno. I'm just nitpicking ;)

wonderful! totally up to you.. but i really like the contrast of the lines in his hair/beard in your first post. Possibly make those direction lines a little thicker?

  20. Rogie Rogie

@Marshall Bock i totally hear what you're saying and I think you're right. I don't mind the folding part, but the hand is too big for sure.

@Melissa Frost I agree with you, thanks. I'm gonna thicken those up a bit.

I like that he is holding his suspenders with one hand. Plus the beard is bitchin'.

The only part that sticks out to me is the Axe-hand, mostly the thumb the fingers look a bit large too. Everything else is killer! I want to be friends with this guy!

I really like this Rogie. For some reason, I'd like to see a little more done to the hands. They feel unfinished to me.
