Something about my first attempt wasn't sitting right with me. The original pixel Irk was based on the perspective of the vector Irk. During staging I switched (most of) him to the standard side view—except for his feet which retained the inappropriate top-down perspective.
There's only one row of pixels and some shading difference but this feels ten times better than the original attempt.
(Oops, forgot to rebound this shot and there doesn't seem to be a way to assign it as a rebound after the fact any more. Dan? Rich?)
There are a couple reasons for the square OK bubble:
- Dan's Bitman as originally drawn is blocky and rigid.
- Different characters have different voices.
- Bitman is of a different scale than the other characters; he's a little bigwig.
Wow. Its amazing how much difference a subtle change can make! (Don't worry about the rebound - we'll count the combined tally from both of your posts)

Yeah looks much better, but only now that you mention it. The lack of any rounding on the OK bubble bugs me though.
Can I play too?

Hence, the different bubbles.

No worries, feel free to disqualify me for using pixels. I've got my hands full in Rasterland anyways ;)
