Quick progress bar I put together in fireworks. The image is the source PNG so if you want the layered file just save it and open it up in Fireworks. :)
Hold on there a sec... Since when does PNG have layers? Or is it some custom Fireworks extension to the PNG format? If so, then it's a very clever hack on Fireworks part.
That's the thing, there's no such thing as "layered PNG". Seriously, it's an oxymoron (damn, I love this word :). PNG format natively supports custom extensions and this must be where Fireworks saves its layers, but then it's only Fireworks who can make sense of them.

It's a fireworks source file...therefore, it has layers!

EDIT: Us Photoshoper's can't seem to get past the magical PNG, it's a nice design to ;)

Nice ! I would have shift the inner (dark blue) just one more pixel to the right ;)
