I am really happy to finally announce Pixa.

I was responsible for the design and the super talented guys over at Shinyfrog for everything else.

The app is currently in beta stage but it's free and open to anyone interested on trying it out, go grab a copy over at pixa-app.com and let us have some feedback, but mostly, enjoy the app!! :)

Nice! This is exactly what my mismanaged, file-hoarding self needs. Is there any hope for those of us who are also Windows users down the line, or possibly the ability (once the cloud feature is implemented) to make certain sets publicly visible through an API for portfolio purposes?

I just installed the beta. Looks really nice. My only complaint from a quick test drive is the linen textures--they already feel a bit played out to me. Just swear you won't add faux leather like on iCal on Mac OS Lion. :)

If you do add real cloud support, I could see replacing LittleSnapper (which I have used for quite a while).

Damn Fabio! Great work; the application is beautiful!

I've been thinking of a lighter, cleaner LittleSnapper for a while now, and with the addition of some simple annotation tools, Pixa could very well be that app.

I'm not a huge fan of the texture used in the content area as well as the linen in the Info view; I think it would look much more clean with simple, flat colours like the rest of the app ;)

Also, this would be AWESOME in Fullscreen ;)
