Grantinee library hero image

Design process for the Grantinee hero image (https://github.com/blinkist/grantinee) -- an open-source library handling database security.

The idea behind was that it acts as a shield, protecting the content behind from attacks, bouncing them off like bullets shot on it. The brand guidelines suggested using minimal symbolism, and max 1 dark, and two bright colors.
