First try on a somewhat complicated navigation/taxonomy. The site is going to be very reduced, promoting long scientific text but also has to be inviting to browse and look for different kinds of content.
I tried to fuse main navigation (issues, autoren and stream) with subnavigation and breadcrumb to keep the space of the whole navigation section as small as possible. And: I love Minion Pro. Hurray!

It looks very classy. I like the visual simplicity it displays (I know it isn't simple).

i dig the idea of pairing univers with georgia. keep the rest as simple as this.

Like that a lot. The small grey italics in the main navi might be a bit too much, though. Maybe just leave them out?
