Spent a while remaking the icon for CarTunes 5, the next version of a gesture-based iPhone music player. Also working on a site for the launch, http://cartunesapp.com (still in progress)!
Please lemme know what you think. It's not too late to change anything :D

Icon looks great to me. Nice colors and like the gloss effect too. Nice job @Ryan :)
Thanks! I'm not usually a fan of the gloss, but i wanted this app to feel at home on the first page of my home screen. I borrowed a bunch of visual cues from Apple's default apps. Also, props to @Nick for all the help!
nice and welcome! did you build this as a vector or raster? If raster what size (px) do you build it in?
It's mostly done in Photoshop, but as vectors. The base of the icon is a vector rounded rect with 5 or 6 gradient layers (all vector) stacked on top. The gloss is another vector oval mask. Then the note, originally made in Illustrator (vector), is rasterized so I could manually clean up the edges for a sharp look. Then vector layer effects are applied.
I was looking at the landing page and there is only one thing I don't like about the design of this app. I don't like the icons used to change between selecting artists, songs, albums etc.. I think they would look better as simple one color icons similar to what is in the default music player for iOS. Other than that one detail, I love the design. Very nice.
@Eddy G - I entirely agree. I'm still working on that interface. Those icons are artifacts of the older app design which was more textured and gradient-ed.
@Ryan Oksenhorn Oh, gotcha. I'm glad you agree. :)
