Once again, I need help selecting the one that's more suitable.Personally, I think the left one looks simple and different.It can be integrated to smaller versions nicely as well.
Suggestions and criticism will be appreciated :)

i think the one on the left would better apply to a brand or app name (if this is for an app).. i.e a logo could slot in nicely onto the record sleeve.
the other one is really nice, but kind of just a generic record player.

Depends on the function - right side feels turntable-ish like it's a player while the left side feels more collector-ish, like it's a store. Either way, they're awesome.

Semantically speaking, the one on the left has elements that aren't congruent. A sleeve over a wooden backdrop with a page curl? I'm not seeing any connection.
I opt for the right. It may not have the same flare (personally, I prefer it even just artistically), but semantically, everything works.

Depends on the main function you want to make it more prominent.
The left looks more like a songs/albums management, the right is more like its players.
I'm about to pick up the right ones, it nice, but sadly its too mainstream :p , just like a generic music player apps.
So I prefer the left ones.
With some quote from @Pete White : i.e a logo could slot in nicely onto the record sleeve.

@William Szilveszter In the left icon, I imagine the vinyl to come out from the sleeve with table in background.The curl has its importance considering the function of the app.
