   style-wise, I like the style of your avatar more than this. The hat here looks too much like a night-cap/Santa hat to me.

   Also, is that a typeface or custom? I really like it.

   I think the typography is very strong, but the hat adds a lot to it and I would miss it if it was gone. It's a great icon, keep it!

   My vote is for keeping your old hat logo or refining this hat logo to make it look less fluffy. But which ever hat logo you go with, keep this "jester hat concept" cause it rocks.
