Took into consideration a lot of the feedback on the initial concept. The problem with Version 1 was that while it was app based, it wasn't very app friendly. It was too wide and too tall thus causing problems for MBP users etc. As of that most of the structure had to change.
This one is definitely an improvement. It's much more intuitive and cut to the bone. In pure aesthetics I think I prefer the bright colors from the previous version, though.
Also, I think there is a slight contrast issue on the brightest gray text (... and ... shared this).
The shot presented here is not really my favorite part of the UI. The simplicity is. But I see why you presented it like this.
I liked the lighter grey too, but having it light grey at the top instead of the dark it would be hard to distinguish what is the header and what is the general bar of the app, it would simply just merge. It was a tough decision anyway, what swayed me towards the dark is that their Android App has a dark header too.
Personally like this shot a lot, it shows lots of the general navigation GUI, I like how clean and crisp the whole thing is. I too will say I preferred the colored version of the first over this, but that'll also just be the detail hoar in me speaking mate :D

I think now its a nice contents arrangement.
in the navigation icons "profile icon" seems more prominent I think it should be muted as home tab is selected.
Also I think there should be prominent "Share input field" instead of only share button

@M khalid khan The profile is just a demonstration of the hover state of the 'muted' navigation items, sorry I didn't make that clear initially.
Thanks.

You're making one hell of an app! It's so clean that I'd buy Mac just to use it :)
