I love colored controls. These remind me in the best way of the Hue, Saturation controls in Apple’s Aperture. It might look even better if the thumb looked more like a control or maybe was set into the foreground a bit either through scale or shadow. Or maybe the contrast between the vertical line and the thumb background was reduced. Man, I write a lot. Sorry about that! Looks great!
