    Liking the look, but isn't your highlight on the button reversed? The drop shadow implies the light source is above, but the highlight is on the bottom half.

    @James Wilson hey man. The button as a whole is casting a shadow directly below it, but the face itself is beveled in. That's why the highlight is in the bottom as it is slightly facing up. At least that WAS the idea when I started. The button also had a different shape where left/right edges were angled more to show that 3D effect, but I didn't like it and I guess I forgot to turn off that style.

    Ah, that would explain it. Def would need more styling for it to be clear it's beveled in. The way it is my eyes were jumping back and forth.

    @James Wilson Very true. I want to keep everything with CSS so I may just flip it or remove it. I don't think I'm going to try complicating things with the bevel.

    There isn't much you can't closely replicate in css at this point. Make it in photoshop exactly how you want it, and I bet I can code it to match.
