Learning to Test

1. While at Home, my PM helped me become more scientific with our interface design. I think this is essential if you're going to make the transition from UX/UI/VD/IxD to a proper product designer.

2. Instead of performing qualitative research, we introduced a second button during onboarding. The second button would be a placeholder for another value that we thought the user wanted.

3. For example, we did a test the button copy launched the new user into a "Get Appraisal" flow or a "Explore Now" flow.

4. This was useful to understand, which features were compelling. I can't share the exact numbers with you, but I will say that getting an appraisal upfront wasn't extremely exciting.
