thanks for the comments everyone. here's the next iteration of the cradle cross crown for the speaker series at jubilee. i added a line to the crown and shrunk the cradle a bit. the legs of the cradle are the same angle as the crown, so i don't want to change the width of the cradle...not to mention, when i do, it looks more like a chalice.
Do you like the reverse out better? anything else?
Strong! One more thing you might try on the crown (you may have a reason for not) but what about dropping the bottom two lines down a bit. It may be too heavy then, just a thought.
Drew, i thought about that, too. i like the line, maybe i add something simple to the others... but i really like keeping it beyond simple. so i may just kill the extra line.

I like the cradle smaller but liked the crown without the baseline better. It's now the only element with an auxiliary line.
