Part of a new design I'm working on for Parachute Journalists. I'm also creating a feature-length video tutorial on how I created it.

Another shot of the new art for an upcoming Parachute Journalists song. I'll be releasing a 2.3 hour video tutorial to show my entire creation process.

Very cool. Keep me posted on the video tutorial! Would love to know what font and technique you used for this :)
Great work Jeff!
really nice. feels authentic and historic.
You know that this looks badass, right?
mmm – this is savage
Thanks for the kind words. I used a typeface called Ivory that fit exactly the look I was going for, a historical 1800's style face that had some ornate swashes already built in as an alternate. So in my tutorial, I'll show you how to get the results I did above.
Love this man. Can't wait to see the tutorial!
Nice! I pass by the Hermitage quite a bit down here in TN
Beautiful fine attention to detail.
This is great work Jeff. It would be fantastic to see your approach.
Reminds me of a granite plaque or gravestone with blood splattered on the etching. Looks almost photo-real. Totally sexy though, absolutely killer.
@Rob, that's a cool way of looking at it. Although the subtle blood soaked effect was part of my goal being that it's Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears. You'll see in my tutorial video once it comes out that I had a lot more blood in there and had to tone it back!
